Ken Walker put together his sextet back in 2002 and they immediately began making a HUGE statement on the music scene, not only in Denver, but all around the country! And this was only magnified when this recording came out. It hit near the top of the jazz charts, and was on the charts for many, many weeks.
The sextet consists of Al Hood, trumpet; Peter Sommer, saxophones; Dave Corbus, guitar; Jeff Jenkins, piano; Paul, Romaine, drums; and Ken Walker, bass.
